1. Acceptance of Terms

Please read this legal agreement to the fullest extent, and if you do not agree with this agreement, please do not access or use any software produced by the.gryd llc. This includes but is not limited to the website playthegryd.com(“website“, “the website“), the applications “the.gryd.demo“ internal test builds 1 through 3, and “the.gryd“ or “the gryd“(“alpha test builds“, “alpha builds“) Test Flight Early builds 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18,20,24,25 and subsequent builds following(“beta test builds“, “beta testing“) (“the gryd“, “gryd“, “gryds“). If you have installed and or operated one of the following softwares, then you agree to adhere to this agreement, and this user agreement applies to you (user, users), and failure to comply with the guidelines established here will result in the removal of your access to the gryd on the device used to perform the infraction, with the iCloud account linked to the app being exiled from the gryd services as well. Users Agreements will be updated periodically, be sure to check back occasionally for updates, and the.gryd llc. will make it our mission to notify users of legal updates as well.

2. Use of Service:

The Gryd wants all players to have fun, however user safety is paramount.

            By operating this sports software, users must understand that it is their responsibility to: 

            + Wear eye protection when they enter a game.

            + Never shoot over a street under any circumstances. If there are opponents on the other side of the street, to engage them it is better to cross first

            + Integrity keeps the game interesting. Don't be that guy, so please call your hits!

            + If you attend an event and shoot darts, be ready to help pick them up once the event ends

            Have fun!

The age requirement to use services created by the.gryd llc. is 9 and up. The following activities are prohibited, and users agree not to engage in the following:

Violating any laws, regulations, or third party rights applicable to their current location.

The posting or transmitting of unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or spam.

Users agree not to impersonate any other person or legal entity, or falsely state or misrepresent their affiliation with another person or entity (don’t get caught in a lie)

Users agree not to Interfere with or disrupt the service of servers or networks connected to any of the.gryd llc. services

Further, it is every users responsibility to ensure that they receive the appropriate permissions to host and attend a gryd created on a previously existing commercial or private property. The Gryd is a tool, not a ticket; shooting sport games are best enjoyed when event organizers take time beforehand to organize and inform, so that property owners understand that a party will be in attendance long before they arrive.

3. Electronic communications

When you visit the website, the gryd, or send emails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. Users consent to receiving messages from us. We will communicate with users via email or by posting notices to the website. Users agree that any and all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirements that such communications would have had were they written.

4. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property rights related to the goods and services provided by the.gryd llc. are the property of the.gryd llc. or its licensers. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non transferrable license to use the service for personal, non commercial purposes. Users agree not to reverse engineer or modify any software created by the.gryd llc. for personal use or distribution.

That includes but is not limited to “the.gryd.demo“ internal test builds 1-3, and “the.gryd“ or “the gryd“ Test Flight Early Access builds 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and subsequent builds following.

If you have installed any of the following software applications listed above, this document applies to you(“user“, “users“). This document exists to help users to understand how these software collect and make use of user data.

As it pertains to users data, here are the core values that form the pillars of our philosophy: Users are enitled to legal documents that are easy to find, easy to read, and are transparent. Much like this one.

Please understand that while location services can be used to optimize freemode and gryd creation services, location data is only required and shared to a network when users attend a game(“in-game”, “match”) in real-time, and once said game is ended, location sharing services are severed and terminated.

Information that users provide to us:

  • Location(When App Is In Use)

  • User Game Center login and statistics

  • User Nickname, a temporary value that players assign to themselves that they can change at any time

Information that is automatically created/collected:

  • Users Phone Model

  • Users In-Game activity logs, and Game State (“active“, “eliminated“, “spectating“)

  • Phone ID, a code generated once and assigned to each users device only once

We prioritize the following motives for how we use the user data that we collect:

We analyze the user data to better understand our users needs, and to improve the apps service and functionality. We also use user to data to curate In-game events for players, tailored to player preferences.
